Docket Notes · private beta
A Notebook.
Docket Notes is built on four pillars: keep it simple, feel and act like a real notebook, be the quickest way to get information down, and help you organize and act on it — so what you write today has value later. Use it as a journal, a logbook, or a working notebook, with views that make it read like the book you want and the timesavings you need — a student can keep every class’s notes on one running page, hold project notes beside them, and track who’s covering which part of a group assignment. Pen is timestamped and logged, ready for reporting; pencil stays editable. Any line becomes a to-do — a task, a shopping item, your piece of the project — and your lists build from there. And it’s built to go further: coming next, AI turns the notebook into a personal assistant for your own entries — “I’m heading to the hardware store, anything else I need from there?” “How much water did I drink in June?” If it’s in your notebook, you’ll be able to ask.
What’s in the notebook
- The page — ruled paper, date headings, everything in the order you wrote it.
- Pencil & pen — pencil edits any time; pen locks in ink, corrections show as strikethroughs.
- To-do tasks — tap any line and it’s on the To-Do List. That’s the whole gesture.
- Lists — tasks gather into lists that build as you tap.
- Pages & index — name each page’s title page; find anything from the index.
- Views — read by day, or draft with nothing on screen but your words.
- The cover — opens on a today view: what’s active, what’s due, what the book holds.
- Share — send any list or page as plain text from your phone’s share sheet.
- Export — everything leaves with you: text, Markdown, CSV, or dates straight to your calendar.
Accounts are invite-only while we’re in private beta: we’re inviting people from the waitlist a few at a time. If you’ve been invited, your notebook is already made — sign in and it’s waiting.
